You are now using the app. Click "Allow" to enable camera usage:
Step 2: Add the passcode in settings
To set the passcode, click on the settings icon located in the bottom left corner of the screen:
That opens the settings options. Select "My profile":
Select "Edit" at the bottom of the page, by the pencil icon:
The passcode screen is presented. Add your meeting name and passcode and click "Save". Note the passcode can be up to 10 digits (numbers only).
Your passcode and meeting information are now confirmed. Select "Got it".
Step 3: Send the invite
Your profile is now presented again. Click 'Copy info" at the bottom of the page - also next to the pencil icon:
You'll receive confirmation the information has been copied:
That information can now be pasted into an email to send out to participants:

Once the passcode is entered, they will join the meeting:
Only participants with a passcode are able to join the meeting.
Setting a unique code for each video class invite
Here are the steps to automatically make each class room invitation unique. Once you have added the 8x8 Meetings app (see Step 1 in previous section), click on the "Settings" icon in the lower left corner of the screen:
From the Settings Menu select "Calendar & Scheduling":
In the Calendar & Scheduling page, under "Scheduling meetings" you will see a selection for "Use a different meeting for every event I schedule". Click on the circle to select that option.
Now every meeting you schedule will include a unique 3 character extension. In the example above "mathclass.xyz" - the "xyz" will be changed for each meeting invite.
